About This Course
World Christianity represents the normative Christianity. Christianity emerged
and developed in multicultural settings, and since then, it has continuously transcended
boundaries, molding, and being molded by cultures and traditions in which it
was received until it became the world religion that we know today. The course delves
into the extensive history of Christianity as a world religion, beginning from the
early church era to its contemporary manifestations, with an underlying
perspective that may surprise many—it has never been an
innocent religion.

Nací en Corea del Sur y me crié en Argentina, y ahora considero a Berkeley mi hogar. Comparto mi vida con mi esposo, quien es cosmólogo e ingeniero de inteligencia artificial. Mi trayectoria académica me ha llevado por todo el mundo: hice mi licenciatura en Traducción durante mis años universitarios en Argentina, seguida de una Maestría en Divinidad (MDiv) en Corea, y más tarde me aventuré a los Estados Unidos para completar mi Maestría en Teología (Th.M.) y mi doctorado (PhD) en Teología.
Más allá de mi pasión por el mundo académico, tengo un profundo amor por explorar nuevos lugares. En mi tiempo libre, me gusta viajar y disfrutar de momentos en familia. Creo firmemente en el valor del aprendizaje continuo y en probar cosas nuevas. Mi naturaleza curiosa me lleva a explorar diversos temas por el puro placer de descubrir, aunque ocasionalmente pueda cambiar de intereses bastante rápido!
