Discover Your Core Purpose

This course is designed to be worked through, not just watched. Each step pairs a short video with a workbook exercise — the video gives you the concept, the workbook gives you the space to wrestle with it. To get the full formational value, plan to:

• Watch the videos. Each one walks you through a step in the Core Purpose Framework and sets up the exercise that follows.
• Do the workbook assignments. This is where the real work happens. Don't skip ahead — the exercises build on each other, and your later statements will only be as strong as the reflection you put into the earlier ones.
• Share in the forum. Purpose isn't meant to be discovered alone. Post your drafts, reflect on what's surfacing, and let others speak into what they hear. Naming your Core Purpose out loud — and in community — is part of what makes it real.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Articulate your Zone of Genius using the pattern-recognition tools of story scan and gut check
• Identify what moves your Spirit and distinguish it from mere excitement or preference
• Name a specific, particular Need in the world rather than a vague ideal
• Define your Core Unit of Value — the tangible, repeatable contribution your leadership produces
• Locate your Calling at the intersection of your Genius and Spirit
• Recognize your Witness — the lived experience that gives you authority to speak into a need
• Claim your Responsibility at the intersection of Need and Value
• Inventory your Provision, both financial and relational, and align it to your work
• Draft, test, and refine a Core Purpose statement using the course's guiding criteria
• Apply your Core Purpose as a filter for future decisions in your life, study, and leadership
