Reflect on the section video and infographic, then answer the question: "What do we mean by human-centered design? And, in what sense is it redundant to add the phrase 'human-centered" to "design'?"

Human-centered design looks to the ways in which a human will interact with and experience something that is designed. The object or process is not created in order to delight in it as an artifact, but rather, it is created in order to bring forward the intention of the creator to bring into being in the most human-aware, human-empathetic way something that is of use to those humans. It is redundant in that design is by humans and we could assert that although humans are easily distracted by objects, which do not require our empathy, such distraction is not the point of design, the point is, always, human interaction with design, and, as such, is human centered.
Being aware of others and putting ourselves in their shoes, seeing the world through their lens and experiences. Understanding that all are important, and design is an awesome way of engaging with the world and works to provide centering for marginalized communities. By centering, organizing, and practicing systems of design that will provide justice for all.
