Assignment | Reflective Questions: Overview + Introduction
Each week you will have the opportunity to use the reflection questions to write a brief one-page draft on what virtues you observe in the reading. When you are trying to discern the virtues of transformative leadership think of single words such as courage, honesty, authenticity, contemplation, love, peacefulness, truth, conviction, and discipline. This list is not meant to be exhaustive but only an example of some of the virtues you might discern.
The assessment for this first week is to read the introduction and the afterword of the book. In reading these, try to get an overview of what the author Albert Raboteau is attempting to do.
This book is not a history text per se, but rather a description of the kinds of people who dedicated their lives to making society better for everyone. What kind of people were they? What virtues do they possess? Why did the author write this book?
