Now you're going to try it out yourself.
With simple materials you can easily locate, build a low fidelity, rapid prototype of a solution that is represented in the storyboard you developed at the at the end of the 'ideate step. If it includes a physical object...make it out of cardboard, foam core, tape, and a glue gun if you have one is really handy.
As it is, modeling clay as you saw from the ergonomic camera model I showed earlier.
If it is a software app, you can sketch it out as a series of screens, showing steps in its use.
If it is included as a service or another kind of experience…then a storyboard may be the easiest way of rendering it. Not to mention, you can continue to develop, to iterate on the storyboard you developed at the end of the ideate step.
Follow a classic storytelling arc. The beginning might be when your user encounters a difficulty you’ve identified. The middle might be when they engage with the concept you have for them.
And at the end might be when they have successfully completed their chore.
The prototype you test might include one or all of these, whatever it takes to convey an experiential sense of your design concept to your user.
