Assignment | Reflective Questions
- Take a moment to quiet yourself. Imagine Jesus sitting across from you.
- Ask Jesus for the grace and awareness to understand and feel his affection for you.
- Begin a dialogue in your journal that begins with Jesus speaking to you: “I see you . . .” Write down whatever comes to your mind without judgment, editing, or analysis.
- Then write the response of your heart to Jesus. Go back and forth, free of judgment or anxiety, until the conversation seems to naturally come to a close.
- Re-read your colloquy and reflect upon your interaction with Jesus. Thank Jesus for meeting you this day.
